Our Client, based in Lidcombe NSW, is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Loader / Overhead Crane Operator to join our growing team. If you have experience in loading/unloading materials and operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or industrial environment, we want to hear from you
About the Role:
As a Loader / Overhead Crane Operator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Operating overhead cranes to lift and move steel reinforcement products safely and efficiently.
2. Loading and unloading trucks and trailers with precision.
3. Ensuring materials are correctly stacked, stored, and handled according to company safety standards.
4. Assisting with general yard duties and material handling as required.
5. Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
6. Previous experience operating an overhead crane in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
7. Forklift licence (highly desirable).
8. Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
9. Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
10. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
