Responsibilities
Undertaking Occupational Rehabilitation assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
Designing and implementing intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy
Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA
A genuine desire to make a measurable impact in peoples lives.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
A customer first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
Confidence working independently in the community.
Drivers licence and vehicle required.
Eligibility for a working with childrens check and police clearance.
