Job Description
Letanika Pty Ltd T/A Signswest are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Signwriter to join their team in Karratha WA. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Responsibilities
* Engaging in discussions with clients and assessing proposals, sketches, and written instructions to determine the composition of signage
* Utilizing computer software and signmaking machinery to design and produce signs and graphics
* Crafting signs by measuring and calculating letter sizes, prepping surfaces, applying background paint using brushes, sprays, or rollers, and fashioning letters with brushes, stencils, enamel paint, and decals
* Developing wall murals, screen prints, gold leaf work, and custom vehicle art
* Applying lacquers, varnishes, paints, and various materials for sign and lettering painting
* Painting signs on various surfaces such as brick, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and others
* Constructing and installing three-dimensional signs
* Creating cost estimates for labor and materials
* Possibly working on scaffolding when needed
* Potentially installing signs at on-site locations
Qualifications
* Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Signwriter
* Certificate III in Signs and Graphics or other relevant qualification
* Ability to work in a team environment
Salary and Application
