The Role -
We're on the hunt for a passionate and knowledgeableSommelierto join the team at the newly reimagined6-level Waterside Hotel. This is afull-time, on-siterole suited to someone who lives and breathes wine and thrives in a dynamic hospitality setting.
As Sommelier, you'll take ownership of our wine program - curating an exceptional list, training our team, and elevating the guest experience through expert recommendations and seamless service.
Key Responsibilities
* Curate and manage an outstanding wine list.
* Deliver engaging and informative training sessions for our teams.
* Provide tailored wine recommendations to guests.
* Oversee wine cellar inventory, ordering, and stock control.
* Drive wine sales through storytelling, education, and exceptional service
About You
* Proven experience in wine sales and hospitality service.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* A collaborative team player with a passion for mentoring others.
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
* A genuine love for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
