**Job Description:**

* We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Care Manager to join our team.


Salary and Benefits:

Competitive remuneration package plus salary packaging + super. Not-for-profit tax saving benefits with salary packaging of up to $18,550 per annum.

The successful candidate can expect a salary dependent on experience and salary packaging available.


Job Responsibilities:

* Supervise and support nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
* Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
* Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
* Oversee patient care delivery to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
* Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients' families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Address and resolve patient care issues and concerns in a timely manner.
* Manage daily operations of the clinical unit, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
* Ensure the unit is adequately staffed and equipped to meet patient needs.
* Monitor and manage unit budgets, including expenses related to staffing, supplies, and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
* Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
* Educate patients and their families about care plans, treatments, and self-care strategies.
* Provide support and guidance to patients and families throughout their care journey.
* Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
* Facilitate effective communication within the team and address any conflicts or issues that arise.
* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of unit goals and objectives.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
* Prepare reports and analyses related to unit performance, patient outcomes, and staff activities.
* Participate in strategic planning and development for the clinical area.
