About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join us as an Agricultural Salesperson at our branch in Innisfail Ag. You will sell a range of construction and agricultural equipment, meet sales targets and build strong relationships with current and new customers. We offer comprehensive training and support to help you excel in meeting sales targets and fostering long-term customer relationships. This role can be based out of our Innisfail, Cairns or Tolga branch!
What you'll be doing:
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in assigned territories
* Identify customer needs and recommend suitable machinery and equipment solutions
* Prepare and deliver presentations or demonstrations of machinery to prospective clients
* Negotiate terms of sales agreements, including price, delivery, and financing options
* Prepare sales contracts and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery
* Refer all equipment finance opportunities to the finance department
* Stay current with product knowledge, including features, benefits, and competitor offerings
* Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to generate leads and build brand presence
* Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer data in the CRM system
* Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure customer satisfaction
What we're looking for:
* Proven track record selling agricultural and/or construction machinery
* You should be passionate about the truck industry
* Sales driven, customer-focused, an excellent communicator, negotiator and a problem-solver
* You will need strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
* A car licence is a must
* New Holland, Case IH, John Deere and/or Kubota experience (desirable)
