Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

About the role
As a member of the People and Culture team, you will assist the General Managers in divisional development, contributing to general human resource needs. You will be supporting people policies, procedures and disciplines to improve business efficiencies and maintain compliance.
This role will entail but is not limited to:
1. In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, minimising legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance;
2. Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues;
3. Conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations;
4. Supporting workforce retention by working closely with management and employees;
5. Providing detailed HR policy guidance and interpretation;
6. Providing high level EBA guidance and interpretation;
7. Supporting the delivery of operational recruitment processes as aligned with McColl's classifications.
About you
You will be a driven, practical individual who is passionate about people. You will have exceptional relationship management skills, underpinned by your ability to build trust and influence across a diverse range of stakeholders. Your strong work ethic and operational focus will allow you to maintain confidentiality within the business.
To be successful in this dynamic role you will have:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Law, Business, or related field;
2. Experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics;
3. Demonstrated experience managing complex HR business issues and workplace planning needs;
4. Experience in Industrial Relations and EBA management (preferred).
