Hotel Duty Manager & Assistant Manager

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Hotel Assistant and Duty Managers to join an exciting new chapter for our venue under brand new ownership.
As new owners, we are passionate about building a venue that is highly regarded within the local community, with a strong focus on excellence across all areas of hospitality — service, food & beverage, gaming, and guest experience. About the Role
As a Duty or Assistant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional service standards and a positive team culture. Reporting to the newly appointed Venue Manager, the successful candidate will have a broad range of skills and be hands on - this is not an office-based position
The Position:
* Manage all shift operations
* Maintain impeccable standards of venue presentation and cleanliness
* Ensure our customer expectations are exceeded at every interaction
* Oversee service daily, while ensuring all administrative duties are completed within given timeframes
* Leading, training, and motivating staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences
* Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Gaming, Liquor and Food Licences
* Ensure all WH&S procedures are adhered to
* Supporting the implementation of new systems, standards, and service initiatives
* Drive promotional activities
* Work closely with senior management to help shape the future of the venue
The Leader (the successful candidate)
* Sound knowledge across all departments including Gaming, Bistro and Bar
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment and passion to the industry
* A cheerful, positive attitude towards your work, customers and team members
* Work well under pressure and be able to multi-task
* Show willingness to use initiative
* Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
* Sound knowledge of compliance, licensing, and operational requirements
* Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience as a Duty Manager or be ready to take the next step in your hospitality career
* Current Approved Managers, RMLV, RSA & RSG
* Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
