Overview
Financial Controller for the Darwin operation of Regent Motors Group. You'll own the full dealership P&L and balance sheet, manage working capital across new, demo, and used vehicle inventory, and partner directly with the Dealer Principal and GM Operations on commercial outcomes.
This is the Financial Controller for the Darwin operation of Regent Motors Group, one of the largest private groups within the Australian motor industry, with 14 sites across WA and the NT, more than 1,100 employees, and a brand portfolio that includes Toyota, BMW, Ford, Volkswagen, and more. The Darwin dealership, Hidden Valley Ford in Berrimah, is a multi-brand operation representing Ford, Subaru, and BMW. Regent Motors Group has been actively growing with expansion planned for WA & NT.
This is a brilliant FC role—the lead finance person for the site.
Responsibilities
* Own the full dealership P&L and balance sheet.
* Manage working capital across new, demo, and used vehicle inventory.
* Partner directly with the Dealer Principal and GM Operations on commercial outcomes.
* Lead a small on-site finance team and maintain clear line of sight to the Group Financial Controller and Managing Director (based in Perth).
Qualifications
* Background within automotive or an inventory-based business is preferred.
* Experience with P&L ownership, balance sheet management, and working capital optimization.
* Experience leading a small on-site finance team and collaborating with senior management.
Remuneration & Benefits
