About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and customer‐focused Service Administrator for our Mackay team on a fixed‐term contract. Monday to Friday roster. This role supports service operations and ensures a seamless experience for internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver day‐to‐day administrative assistance to keep service operations running smoothly.
  • Create, track and finalise work orders, job cards and related invoicing.
  • Organise scheduling, process timesheets and support accurate job costing.
  • Communicate with customers regarding bookings, progress updates and general enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate service information and update systems consistently.
  • Contribute to safety, quality and compliance standards across the service function.
  • Assist with reporting tasks and broader administrative support as needed.
  • Reception duties – engage customers, vendors and internal employees when visiting the facility.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administration role, ideally within a service, workshop or trade environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high‐quality customer service.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems.
  • Team‐focused approach with a proactive, positive attitude.
