Job Title: Campus Event Planner
The Conference and Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in sourcing and securing conferences, events, and accommodation bookings through proactive sales calls, telesales, and exceptional guest relations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for venue inquiries, bookings, and coordination.
* Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and develop bespoke event plans.
* Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including staffing, catering, equipment, and vendor management.
* Ensure the venue is meticulously set up and presented to the highest standards for each event.
* Maintain a vigilant eye on budgets and provide regular progress updates to clients.
* Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and suggest recommendations for venue improvements.
* Prominently maintain a list of reliable suppliers to support the delivery of large-scale events, such as conferences and weddings.
This part-time position guarantees a minimum of 16 hours per week. The successful candidate must possess at least 2 years of experience in a similar events/venue coordination role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
