Strategic Growth & Business Development
Identify and secure new revenue streams within the Industrial Equipment segment.
Build strong, long-term partnerships with customers, distributors, and industry influencers.
Lead initiatives across key sectors such as infrastructure, mining, renewable energy, and fabrication.
Support successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
Analyse business performance and recommend the right business models, pricing, and market positioning.
Represent WIA in relevant industry associations, trade bodies, and professional networks.
Track technology shifts, regulatory updates, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
Present market insight reports to guide strategic decision-making.
Translate market needs into product and service requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales teams to create future-forward solutions.
Lead pilot programs and application trials with early adopters.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build strong relationships with internal teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and Marketing.
Ensure customer needs are reflected across product development and service delivery.
Systems, Safety & Process Excellence
Capture and analyse customer and market insights using the CRM system.
Adhere to business processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Uphold and promote WIA's WHS&E standards.
Is this the perfect role for you?
You're a curious, technically minded professional who understands the welding industry and thrives at the intersection of innovation, commercial thinking, and customer engagement.
If you have the following skills and experience then this may just be the perfect position for you:
Minimum 3 years' experience in product management, business development, or sales.
Experience in industrial equipment, welding, or related market segments.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Analytical mindset and comfort working with data, insights, and CRM tools.
Ability to collaborate with customers and sales teams to deliver value-added solutions.
Relevant business, engineering, or trade qualifications.
At WIA, we're committed to innovation, quality, and supporting the industries that build our world.
Be part of a respected, long-standing brand backed by the power of a global leader in ITW.
Influence the development of next-generation industrial equipment solutions.
Work with a passionate team committed to innovation, safety, and customer success.
Enjoy a role with autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape real commercial impact.
