**THE OPPORTUNITY**
You will be commencing in a Boilermaker Apprenticeship with our client** DPS (Diesel Parts & Service)**, based in **Hamilton **in Brisbane, that has been providing industry leading services for over 50 years. DPS is a family owned and operated company specialising in diesel engines, pumps, generators and spare parts.
You will be involved in hands on activities, learning and working on pumps and generators. Duties include welding, grinding, thermal cutting, fabricating, measuring, using various metal and steels, keeping workshop clean and following OHS policies and procedures whilst learning from experienced tradespeople. You will be using all types of welding equipment, grinders, thermal cutting equipment, power, and hand tools.
Undertaking this **four-year apprenticeship **will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and earn your **MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Boilermaker/Welding)**.

- Punctual and reliable
- Completed Certificate II Engineering Pathways or experience in similar industry
- Current driver's licence
