An opportunity now exists for an experienced senior finance professional to join the business on a fixed‐term basis of up to six months, supporting a range of accounting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
The Role
The role will involve overseeing and reviewing the financial accounting function during a period of change, ensuring processes are fit‐for‐purpose, best practice, and compliant with relevant accounting standards. You will also support the preparation of financial accounts, maintain accurate and well‐controlled accounting records, assist with cashflow management and budgeting, and deliver insightful financial analysis on results. In addition, you will provide support with statutory reporting, tax obligations, and other key compliance requirements.
About You
You will be a fully qualified finance professional, holding CA or CPA membership. This role will commence immediately, so you'll need to be comfortable committing to a fixed‐term engagement. You will bring strong financial accounting capability and a sound working knowledge of relevant accounting standards. A background in audit or compliance will be highly regarded, alongside solid commercial experience. You will also be able to demonstrate a proven ability to critically review systems and processes and develop practical recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
