**Head of Quality Assurance Role**
Our company is seeking an experienced Head of QA to lead food safety, quality systems and continuous improvement across our site.
This senior role is ideal for a hands-on quality leader who can partner with operations and senior management to drive best-practice standards.
About the Position
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of our site's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, certification and customer requirements.
You will work closely with production, operations, suppliers and customers to ensure product integrity, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead, implement and maintain Quality Management Systems aligned to SQF, HACCP and relevant food safety standards
* Ensure compliance with Australian regulations and export market requirements
* Manage internal, external and third-party audits, including corrective and preventative actions (CARs/NCRs)
* Drive GMP compliance across the site, including sanitation, allergen management, chemical control and hygiene programs
* Oversee product traceability, recall readiness and non-conforming product management
* Investigate customer complaints and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Analyse quality and production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
**Skills and Qualifications**

* Proven experience in quality assurance and leadership roles
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
* Excellent communication and project management skills
