What you'll be doing
The Women's Health Physiotherapy Service aims to deliver high‐quality, patient‐centred physiotherapy care for women across the lifespan, as part of the Allied Health multidisciplinary team, grounded in evidence‐based practice, contemporary clinical guidelines, and established physiotherapy standards.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
* Full registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, with evidence of extensive women's health clinical experience and the ability to manage complex patients, with a minimum of experience at Physiotherapist Level 2.
* Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
* Demonstrated proficient skills and knowledge in contemporary physiotherapy pelvic health practice, with a strong commitment to an evidence‐based service for consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, case management, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning. Demonstrated understanding of, or experience with, vaginal pessaries in the management of pelvic organ prolapse is desirable, or a demonstrated willingness to undertake training.
