We are actively seeking dedicated Batcher Operator to join our concrete industry team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the operation of machinery and equipment used in the production and mixing of concrete at the plant.
* Operate and monitor automated systems to accurately dispense materials and ensure consistent concrete production.
* Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of batching machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
* Communicate effectively with drivers via radio to coordinate deliveries and ensure smooth workflow.
* Handle customer inquiries and take orders over the phone, ensuring excellent customer service and accurate order processing.
* Operate front-end loaders when necessary, with training provided on-site for this equipment.
* Assist with manual handling and lifting tasks as required to support plant operations.
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for both yourself and colleagues.
What You Bring to the Team:
* Previous experience as a Batcher Operator or similar role, (preferred)
* Front end loader ticket and experiences
* Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights.
* Prior experience in a Similar role.
* Full Australian working rights
* Ability to pass pre employment medical & drug and alcohol test.
* A can-do attitude with a willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks when necessary.
* Professionalism and a commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety.
