Temporary Full-Time – February 2027 to February 2028 at Logan Hospital Meadowbrook, for an Advanced Trainee Registrar seeking hands‐on experience in advanced gynaecology, laparoscopy and consultant‐level O&G practice.

Take the next step in your specialist training with a unique Senior Registrar opportunity designed to support your transition toward consultant practice through advanced surgical exposure, leadership experience and high‐volume clinical care, including:
1. Opportunity to complete the Advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic ATM
2. Dedicated advanced training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures
3. Exposure to complex pelvic pain and severe endometriosis surgery
4. Participation in consultant/senior staff rosters with supported first‐on‐call experience
5. Running operating lists, outpatient clinics and supervising junior doctors
6. Senior after‐hours Birth Suite experience in a busy high‐risk obstetric unit
7. Inpatient, outpatient and emergency obstetrics & gynaecology care
8. Involvement in teaching, audit, leadership and service improvement initiatives
About You
We are looking for a motivated and capable Advanced Trainee who is ready to grow clinically and professionally, with:
9. Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
10. RANZCOG Advanced Trainee status or eligibility to undertake Fellowship training
11. Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynaecology, including emergency management
12. Interest in advanced gynaecological surgery and laparoscopic practice
13. Excellent communication skills with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
14. Ability to lead, mentor and support junior medical staff
15. Commitment to education, continuous learning and quality improvement
