The Senior Payroll Officer position involves overseeing a payroll team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise a team of payroll officers, delivering high-quality service to customers to support timely payroll processing.
* Maintain the workload of your payroll team to guarantee completion of tasks within agreed deadlines.
* Provide guidance and advice on complex requests.
About You:
* Experience in payroll processing using SAP software, working in a shared services environment.
* Proven leadership experience in a payroll team, with a demonstrated ability to manage high work volumes during peak periods.
* Effective communication skills in writing and verbal interactions.
* Familiarity with NSW Government payroll awards and legislation.
