About the Role:
MSS Security is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Control Room Team Leader to join our team at the University of Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the control room, providing guidance and support to control room operators, and ensuring smooth coordination of all security activities across campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of 8+ security personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to protocols.
Oversee control room operations, including managing CCTV footage and screens, access control, visitor management, and responding to phone inquiries.
Maintain effective communication and reporting within the team.
Utilise strong computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and operational tasks.
Manage on-site rostering, including addressing absences and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Maintain incident reports and documentation.
Skills & Experience:
Full Australian working rights.
Valid Victorian Security License with Control Room endorsement.
Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
Full Driver's License.
First Aid/CPR certification.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry.
Strong computer proficiency and accessibility.
