Senior Communications Director Position
This is a senior role that involves leading the development of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for clients across various sectors.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public relations, with a deep understanding of government policy processes, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs. They will also possess strong leadership, management, and mentorship skills, as well as excellent strategic communication, writing, editing, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead strategic communications and stakeholder engagement strategies tailored to client needs.
* Provide senior-level counsel on navigating government processes, policy environments, and regulatory landscapes.
* Monitor policy trends and identify opportunities and risks for clients.
* Act as a key contact for government clients, overseeing campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in PR or communications, with significant exposure to Federal Government clients or environments.
* Deep understanding of government policy processes, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs.
* Strong leadership, management, and mentorship skills.
* Excellent strategic communication, writing, editing, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Comfortable operating independently and collaboratively in a dynamic agency environment.
