Adult Disability Support Role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to provide direct care 1-1 support and group programs for adults living with a disability in a friendly and engaging environment.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will work alongside an experienced team to provide personal care, assist with activities or transport participants to appointments. Your role will be to empower and enable adults with disabilities to live independently and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct care support to adults with disabilities in a variety of settings, including group homes and community facilities.
* Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing and meal preparation.
* Encourage and support participation in social and recreational activities.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families and carers.
Requirements
* Certificate III Individual Support or similar qualification.
* Previous experience working with adults with disabilities is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence (optional).
