Social Worker Level 3 - Shoalhaven Aboriginal Maternal Infant & Child Health. Temporary Part Time 24 hours per week. Location: Nowra Child and Family Health Service. Salary: $56.68 - $58.52 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging. Applications close: 21 September 2025. This is a temporary leave relief position until 28 June 2026 with the possibility of extension. 
Role 
Join the Shoalhaven Binji & Boori Service, part of the Division of Kids & Families, to deliver culturally safe care to Aboriginal families with a trauma-informed lens. Work in partnership with Aboriginal Health Workers and other health professionals to provide high quality care and maintain a healthy workplace culture. Ongoing support available from the ISLHD Head of Department for Social Work and the Division of Kids & Families Social Work network. 
Responsibilities 
- Provide social work services to families with complex health needs. 
- Collaborate with families, staff and other services to support child and family health outcomes. 
- Engage in assessment, planning, and implementation of care in line with Aboriginal health priorities and policies such as Closing the Gap and First 2000 Days initiative. 
- Contribute to a trauma-informed, culturally safe environment. 
- Maintain documentation and participate in team and network activities to support professional practice and workplace culture. 
Qualifications and Requirements 
- Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). 
- Working With Children Check (WWCC). 
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role. 
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
