AES Underwood is seeking a friendly and reliable permanent part-time **Animal Attendant**to join our hard-working team.
**About the Role**
Our Animal Attendant team members are trained to help support both the Nursing and Veterinary staff, giving you an introduction into emergency and critical care.
We are looking for someone with lots of availability ad this is a **permanent part-time role** rostered approximately 40 hours per fortnight. The main tasks include:
- Supporting the nursing team
- Helping to maintain clinic hygiene standards
- Infection control
- Restocking
- Animal handling and restraining
**About You**
- A love for providing the best care to animals of all shapes and sizes
- Certificate II/III in Animal Studies (or studying towards)
- Strong work ethic (happy to chip in and support the team)
- Resilient (comfortable with the sights, sounds and smells of a hospital environment)
- Flexibility for afterhours shifts (weekends, public holidays, evenings, early mornings)
