About The Opportunity
This role is suited for a hands-on Diesel Mechanic who enjoys variety and takes real pride in delivering quality work. You'll work both in the field and the workshop across a range of trucks, 4WDs, mobile plant, and earthmoving gear.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Keeping job cards and timesheets neat and accurate
Attending to on-site breakdowns and maintenance as needed
Supporting apprentices and junior team members on the tools
Servicing and repairing a broad range of vehicles and equipment
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service
About You
We're after someone who gets the job done right without cutting corners. You'll bring:
At least 5 years' experience in diesel mechanics
A Manual Driver's Licence (HR and forklift ticket a bonus)
A "let's figure it out" attitude and solid problem-solving skills
A team-focused mindset and a genuine pride in your workmanship
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
