**Environmental Health and Safety Advisor**
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures for our construction sites
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards
- Investigate accidents and incidents and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences
- Conduct safety training for employees and contractors
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and permits
- Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices in health and safety
- Participate in project planning to ensure that health and safety risks are identified and addressed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction health and safety
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and standards
- Experience conducting safety training for employees and contractors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or IOSH are desirable
