Woolmers Estate, situated near Launceston Tasmania, is a World Heritage Australian Convict Heritage site, one of only two in Northern Tasmanian representing the convict assignment system and one of the most intact pioneer farm complexes in the nation. Founded in 1817 by Thomas Archer, it remained in the Archer family for six generations until 1994. Spanning 82 hectares, the estate comprises a beautiful rose garden and collection of buildings that have preserved their 19th-century condition, including the main homestead, workers' cottages, a chapel, a blacksmith shop, stables, and notably, one of the oldest intact woolshed in Australia. Woolmers Estate is looking for enthusiastic front of house staff to work in the Rose Garden Cafe and heritage precinct, supporting functions and events & housekeeping staff to attend to our heritage accommodation and visitor centre. Open daily, mostly day hours.
What we're looking for
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and consistency
* Prior coffee making / barista experience preferred (FOH position only).
* RSA essential (FOH position only).
* Prior Housekeeping experience preferred (Housekeeping position only)
* Must live within half an hour of Longford.
* Part and full time positions available by negotiation.
