This role is full time with shifts Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm.As a Registered Nurse, you'll make a positive impact by:Coordinating/supervising sick parades, including triage, assessment, outpatient and inpatient treatment, inoculations parades and health promotion servicesPerform triaging and assessments of Eligible Personnel presenting to the health facility and coordinate additional appointment/services required to ensure timely access to appropriate healthcareDelivering and assessing nursing interventions including medication administration, vaccinations, intravenous therapies, physical assessment and patient interventionCoordinating/supervising medical appointments including admission to Defence inpatient facilities and civilian hospitalsEnsuring continuity of care by appropriate transfer of relevant informationAbout ADF Health ServicesIn partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.About Oakey Health CentreOakey Health Centre is located at the Army Aviation Centre (AAC) 3km outside Oakey.It is the training area for Australian Army Aviation and is home to the 126 Squadron (Cougar helicopters) of the Republic of Singapore Air Force.With approximately 500 members, the health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmaceutical and mental health services.It is also an emergency response to AAC.
Health centre staff may be required to work across Cabarlah & Oakey.
