About you
We are seeking a the following mechanics/technicians to be based in Tasmania
* Construction Mechanic - Hobart
* Service Technician - Hobart
* Service Technician - Launceston
In this role, you will work closely with other Installers, Electricians, Adjusters, Trade Assistants, Field Engineers, and Construction Coordinators.
* Permanent roles
* Reports to the Tasmania Branch Manager
Key Responsibilities for You
* Performs either Installation or Maintenance work in accordance with relevant job procedures, technical articles, and operations manuals.
* Stand by and provide after-call-back coverage as needed.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to meet customer satisfaction.
* Electrical and Mechanical training to apprentices and subcontractors.
* Attend lift and escalator breakdowns and perform repairs and control modifications on lifts and escalators, including Re-roping, Hoisting, and Rigging.
* Liaise with customers and submit leads using Otis-provided applications.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
1. Have an Electrical license or a Cert III in Electrotechnology
2. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within the elevator Industry with extensive Electrical and Mechanical knowledge across large equipment
3. Hold a valid driver's license
4. Has the ability to perform knowledge
