Territory Sales Manager: Pool & Spa industry
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our team, based at our Balcatta facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for the pool and spa industry to take ownership of a defined territory while also coaching and mentoring a small team of external and internal Sales Representatives.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, building strong customer relationships, and developing strategies to grow market share across WA state for the Waterco and Davey Water range of products.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and drive sales activities to achieve revenue and growth targets
* Coach, mentor and develop a small team of Sales Representatives, fostering a high-performance culture
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including pool builders, retailers, service technicians and trade partners
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans, forecasts and budgets
* Maintain accurate records and pipeline management within the CRM system
* Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the pool and spa sector
* Collaborate with marketing, operations and product teams to ensure aligned go-to-market activity
* Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and customer site visits
About You
* Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Representative role
* Minimum 3‐4 years of sales management experience required
* Pool and spa industry experience highly regarded (or related industries such as building products, outdoor living, plumbing, or wholesale trade)
* Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and lead a small sales team
* Minimum 3‐5 years of team leadership experience required
* Strong sales planning, forecasting and territory management skills
* Confident user of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) with a data‐driven approach to pipeline management
* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‐building skills
* Self‐motivated, results‐oriented and able to work autonomously
* Current WA driver's licence and willingness to travel within the territory as required
