About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Finance Officer to join our growing team at Arxis Group Pty Ltd in our Adelaide office. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career development and advancement within our dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
* Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
* Maintaining general ledger and preparing financial reports
* Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
* Cash flow management
* Payroll administration and ATO Processing (BAS & IAS)
* Providing administrative support to the administration team
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
* Setting up customer agreements for services work
* Match invoices with Purchase Orders
* Verify and process employee expense claims and manage the approval and payment process
* Perform reconciliations including supplier statement reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and more
* Report on Aged Payables plus other ad-hoc reporting where applicable
* Identify improvements to the finance processes
What we're looking for
* Prefer 2 years' experience in an Accounts Officer or similar finance role - but right aptitude people will be considered
* Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
