About us:
Tablelands Child and Youth Mental Health service offers free and confidential services for children and young people up to 18 with severe or complex mental health needs. Many young people can get help for their mental health from schools, community groups, or their GP. But some people need more specialised care. We're based at Atherton Community Health Building and our service are span across the Tablelands and greater region Supporting Young people with Tertiary mental health needs.

About your role:
Use the biopsychosocial model to conduct mental health assessments and assist consumers and families/supports to develop a comprehensive individual recovery plan and facilitate the effective delivery of care.
Provide care to patients presenting in crisis or in emergency via telephone triage and emergency department assessments.
Work with families and client's communities to promote recovery and community inclusion, co-ordinate/facilitate access to generic supports, services, opportunities and resources necessary to meet the consumer's identified needs and goals.
Deliver a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions including specialist discipline-specific therapies, counselling, psycho education, additional therapeutic investigations, and provision of direct strategic support and assistance to children and youth to achieve their goals.
