Their team of 15 highly experienced professionals each has up to 30 years in the industry, providing expert recommendations to improve organizational maturity. They do not sell products; instead, they focus on delivering tailored advice and solutions that help clients enhance their cybersecurity posture.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client's team. As the primary client contact, you will manage a small portfolio of clients and drive net new Business acquisition. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating business proposals from scratch, and driving growth in the cybersecurity consulting space.
You will also be supported by one of the industry's most experienced and reputable technical teams, whom you can bring into Client meetings from the early stages of your sales cycles in order to lend support where needed.
What You'll Do
* Selling into Industries such as Education, Health and State Government
* Conduct face-to-face meetings and virtual consultations with clients to identify their needs and objectives.
* Develop and present tailored business proposals and cybersecurity solutions.
* Manage a small portfolio of clients in Sydney, maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
* Drive sales across the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
* Use your knowledge of cybersecurity trends to advise clients and position services effectively.
* Collaborate with internal consultants to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
* Independently manage your schedule and pipeline while supporting team initiatives.
Who You Are
* A sales hunter with proven full sales cycle experience in B2B sales.
* Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, risk management, and industry trends.
* Confident presenter and communicator, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
* Able to work independently and manage your own client portfolio with confidence
* Has a strong professional network within the cybersecurity industry.
