Maintenance Technician (Electrical or Mechanical)
Location: Greenacre
Shift: Day Shift
Salary: $55 - $58 + Super + regular OT
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance professional to join a multinational business. If you have a trade qualification as a fitter or electrician and experience within FMCG, Heavy Industrial or manufacturing industry, this role could be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and shutdowns.
* Planned, reactive and preventative maintenance and use of inhouse maintenance program.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support production and site activities to optimiseproductivity and minimisedowntime.
* Ensure planned maintenance aligns with plant and resource availability.
* Diagnose faults and manage equipment/process failures proactively.
About You:
* Trade qualification as a fitter or electrician.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes
* Experience within Heavy Industrial, FMCG, and manufacturing environments
* Understanding of safety systems, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
* Computer literacy and strong communication skills.
