Key responsibilities
* Your will lead all design and technical activities and be the single point of contact for project related matters.
* You will act in a supervisory role across the engineering team to ensure that associated design engineering activities, related to projects, are delivered on-time and adhere to all quality and safety regulations.
* Coordinate and manage multi-discipline designs across disciplines including electrical, performance systems (PV, BESS), mechanical, civil & structural, Comms & and SCADA
* Help support the estimating function during pre-contract stages including RFQ packages for tenders and bids.
* Be the 'go-to' person in helping your team deal with and provide solutions, for technical issues and consult with internal SME's when required.
* Engage local Design & Engineering consultants and Design-Houses to support specific project related work.

* You will have extensive and senior experience in design disciplines especially involvement with large-scale renewable energy, utility or large-scale construction projects.
* You are very familiar with working in or with an EPC organisation.
* You can lead a multi-disciplined team and be highly knowledgeable when providing technical advice and solutions to complex matters.
* You have demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing engineering designs and working closely with clients especially where legislative and standard requirements are concerned.
* You are well versed in all ISO9000/QA processes and procedures, engineering codes of practice and industry standards
* You hold relevant tertiary engineering qualifications
* You are committed to enhancing your skills and experience
* You have excellent communication skills and a consultative/collaborative style of management.
