Job Opportunity: Investment Specialist
The position of Investment Specialist is available in our Funds, Superannuation & Financial Services Team. The role involves collaborating with partners and lawyers across offices to work with clients across various sectors.
This permanent, full-time role offers the possibility of hybrid working or flexible arrangements. Our team provides exposure to a variety of partners and work streams, with opportunities to specialise in investments while building a broad foundation across the field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise leading Australian and global institutional investors on direct and indirect investments across traditional and emerging asset classes.
* Provide guidance on investment structures and activities, including pooled fund investments, co-investments alongside managers, funds-of-one, direct investments/JVs, and other closely-held fund structures into private market assets (real estate, infrastructure), IMAs, and asset transition work.
* Assist superannuation and other investors with regulatory and compliance issues related to their investment activities.
Requirements:
* Experience in funds, superannuation or financial services, ideally from a leading top-tier, national or international firm, or in-house team.
* Background in financial services with experience in investments or funds-related transactions across private capital asset classes.
* A focus on specialising in investments work for clients in the superannuation sector while building generalist expertise.
* Excellent academics.
