Experienced Barista – Casual (2-3 Positions Available)

Cafe Central is seeking experienced Baristas to join our busy and well-established café team. This role is suited to confident professionals who can consistently deliver high-quality coffee in a fast-paced environment.
This is a casual position, with hours generally ranging between 24–38 hours per week, depending on business needs.
About the Role
You will be a hands-on team member with responsibility across all areas of the café, including:
* Preparing espresso-based coffee to a high standard
* Managing workflow during busy service periods
* Delivering friendly, efficient customer service
* POS operations and cash handling
* Food service, cleaning, and general café duties
* Supporting the team to maintain consistency and efficiency
About You (Experienced Applicants Only)
To be considered, you must have:
* Minimum 12 months experience as a Barista in a commercial café environment
* Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and coffee consistency
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* A professional, reliable, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
* Flexibility with availability, including weekdays and some weekends
