About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our school by maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, toilet facilities, and common areas.
Maintaining and cleaning equipment and ensuring proper storage.
Performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
Managing waste disposal and ensuring the cleanliness of outdoor areas.
Reporting safety or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager.
This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
About You
The following traits would be beneficial:
Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills for liaising with school staff.
Understanding of workplace health and safety practices (advantageous).
