About The Role
The Stores Person sits within our National Warehouse & Logistics team within our Operations division. Reporting into the Logistics Manager, you will be based out of our North Ryde laboratory on a full-time permanent basis.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Receive, receipt and put away of orders
* Assist to maintain stores area by ensuring adequate supplies are available
* Assist in regular stocktaking program for inventory, as required
* Maintain a clean and efficient work area
About You
This role would suit someone with previous experience and sound understanding in warehousing, storage and distribution, with a desire to work in a busy warehouse environment.
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the below criteria:
* Physically able to lift up to 15 kilograms with an acute awareness of safe warehouse practices to handle cartons of various sizes and lifting heavy weights
* A current full (unrestricted) driver licence is required
* A forklift licence is required
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Commitment to maintain, and adhere to, safety guidelines in the workplace
* Ability to work autonomously, manage and take ownership as well as work collaboratively in a group environment
* SAP knowledge is advantageous
