Job Overview:
The Contract Management role is a pivotal position within the organization, tasked with ensuring commercial and contractual risk management. This involves providing critical support to project delivery teams in achieving financial and operational performance targets.
* Strategic Procurement: Develop procurement strategies that align with project delivery timelines.
* Contract Execution: Facilitate contract execution and coordinate with commercial teams for project securities.
* Project Controls: Assist in setting up project controls, including cost tracking and progress reports.
* Agreement Management: Manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
* Claim and Notification: Prepare and submit progress claims, variation notifications, and contractual responses.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure coordinated contract management.
* Forecasting: Assist the Divisional Manager with monthly project forecasts.
* Leadership and Support: Provide support and leadership to Contract Administrators.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Construction or Contracts Management, 5-10 years' experience in a similar role, and demonstrated understanding of AS, GC21, and NEC. They should also have strong computer software skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, and experience with Coins, Felix, or Procore is desirable.
