About the Role
As a Visitor Information Officer, you'll be the welcoming face of Toowoomba Region for locals and visitors. You'll provide inspiring, accurate information about attractions and events, support daily Visitor Centre operations, and work closely with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide friendly, professional customer service to visitors in person, by phone and email
* Share up-to-date information on attractions, events and experiences
* Assist with administration, correspondence and visitor data
* Support retail operations including POS, cash handling and stock control
* Assist with volunteer coordination, supervision and support
* Prepare and update visitor information and promotional materials

About You
* Passionate about tourism, events and experiences in the Toowoomba Region
* Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a busy, visitor-focused environment
* Enjoys working with and supporting volunteers

What We Offer
* $37.75 – $40.85 per hour (gross, per 52.8-hour fortnight)
* Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers: 4 weeks at full-time rate
* 17.5% annual leave loading + up to 12.65% super
