Senior Water Resource Consultant Job Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Water Resource Consultant to join our team. As a key member of the water management team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects that shape the future of integrated water management in Australia.


About the Role

The Senior Water Resource Consultant will lead the delivery of projects ensuring alignment with objectives and client requirements. This involves managing and growing client relationships, overseeing project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient project execution and high-quality outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

* Project Delivery: Lead the delivery of projects ensuring alignment with objectives and client requirements.
* Client Relationships: Manage and grow client relationships with a focus on Sydney Water and other stakeholders in NSW.
* Project Resources: Oversee project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient project execution and high-quality outcomes.
* Business Development: Develop business opportunities by preparing proposals, presentations, and identifying new projects.
* Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff fostering a collaborative environment.


Requirements

* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or related field) with relevant experience in water resources/integrated water management.
* Strong technical foundation in hydrology/catchment modeling, water-sensitive urban design, and software such as TUFLOW FV/Source, TUFLOW Catch, MUSIC, MIKE.
* Proven project management experience including planning, budgeting, and execution of water management projects.
* Knowledge of integrated water management principles, practices, and limitations, including water, nutrient, and energy balance.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
