About The Role
Reporting directly to the Deputy Director‐General, School and Regional Operations and Performance and working with some of Australia's best educational leaders, these positions supervise approximately 100 state schools and a diverse range of Early Childhood facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to support strategic leadership of the Department's strategic direction and drive implementation of new system‐wide initiatives within the region.
You will be joining the Department at an exciting time of transformational change that requires a strong focus on leadership, people development and continuous improvement of educational outcomes for Queenslanders. This includes a strong focus on learning outcomes in state schools and supporting successful transition of children from home to early education and into school.

The role will work closely with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders while representing and guiding each region to achieve its best results.
