Job Description
ClearCompany has formed an innovative collaboration to create scaled end-to-end solutions accelerating a local circular economy. We seek flexible individuals for day and afternoon shift operations at our state-of-the-art rHDPE/PP recycling facility.
About the Opportunity
You will work a 12-hour roster (8 hours if required) and be trained in areas like Quality and WHSE. Your role involves delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives for processing up to 25,000 tonnes of baled post-consumer HDPE/PP per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with WHSE procedures and directions, working towards Goal Zero.
* Undertake duties safely and contribute to the safety of others through BOP's, Risk Assessments, and Incident Reporting.
* Provide relevant licences and permits to supervisors where required.
* Contribute to product quality through inspection and testing as specified on Operator Instruction sheets.
* Advise supervisors or technicians promptly of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance, or People issues.
* Ensure quality products are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Maintain workstation housekeeping during shifts, with a final cleanup at the end.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed, you'll have:
* Experience working in 24/5 or later 24/7 operations.
* Background in extrusion, blow/injection moulding, or thermoforming within plastics manufacturing.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to adjust, calibrate, and test equipment daily.
* Capacity to learn new processes quickly and troubleshoot issues while maintaining quality standards.
* A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
* Superior communication skills, with the ability to connect across all levels at Site.
Valid Australia Work Right Entitlements are required.
