With the current CEO's impending retirement, the Board of Management now seek to appoint a new CEO to nurture the positive culture, professional leadership, prudent management and strategic development of ATEC.
**Role Overview**
Reporting to the Board, this role is responsible for leading and ensuring the ongoing stability and development of the organisation. The Chief Executive Officer will work collaboratively with the executive team to provide strong leadership, prudent management and strategic development of organisational direction, policy and delivery of services to industry, government and the community. A key focus of this role is to effectively manage and influence key stakeholder relationships with Industry and Government.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and guiding ATEC's management and staff to grow their commitment to achieving the organisational objectives;
- Fostering a positive, consultative, innovative, and safe work culture with an emphasis on safety, equal employment opportunity, access and equity, and anti-discrimination principles;
- Overseeing ATEC's strategic planning and business development, core business and financial security;
- Monitoring business performance and evaluating ATEC's activities according to its strategic objectives and growth plans;
- Managing organisational risk, continuous improvement, corporate governance, quality and compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and business requirements.
