About Us: Located in the heart of Albury on Dean Street, Green Zebra Cafe is a local favorite known for serving the best breakfast in town. We have a strong, loyal customer base and a solid reputation. We are now entering an exciting phase of growth: we are expanding our trading hours to include dinner service and introducing a fully licensed liquor offering for both lunch and dinner.
The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced, "hands-on" Venue Manager to take the reins. While our breakfast trade is booming, we need a strong leader to successfully launch and manage our new dinner venture.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Control: Oversee day-to-day operations from our busy breakfast rush through to the new evening dinner service.
* Team Leadership: Take full charge of HR duties, including recruiting, training, rostering, and performance management (hiring/termination) of floor and bar staff.
* Culture Building: Lead the team with a firm but fair management style, fostering a positive workplace culture that appeals to our local staff.
* Liquor & Dining Management: Oversee the introduction of alcohol service, ensuring RSA compliance and smooth service standards during the transition to night trade.
* Financial Management: Handle cash management, daily reconciliations, and manage labor costs effectively.
* Business Growth: Work hard to establish the dinner trade as a success equal to our breakfast reputation.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in a top management position (Restaurant Manager, Cafe Manager, or similar).
* Local Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Albury hospitality scene and the ability to connect with local customers and staff is essential.
* Liquor Experience: Proven experience managing a licensed venue (RSA required).
* Leadership Style: You must be confident in managing staff independently. We want a manager who can handle team dynamics and resolve issues on their own terms.
* Work Ethic: Willingness to put in the hard yards to launch the dinner service. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
