About the Role:
We're seeking a strategic Business Director to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and driving marketing-led growth through innovative media and data-driven solutions.
You'll inspire and manage a team to deliver exceptional work for clients, with a focus on ROI and consumer insight.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years' experience in a media agency or publishing/media sales environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
They will be able to influence, collaborate, and build rapport, and have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering results.
A collaborative approach when liaising with stakeholders and media is essential, and proficiency in Excel and media planning tools is a must.
This is an all-encompassing role where your impact can be immense and your growth and development will be supported by a strong leadership team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Develop trusted senior client partnerships and ensure our team acts as a true marketing partner
* Develop internal and external client action plans that deliver against client needs and identify opportunities for marketing-led growth
* Develop a high-performing team through coaching, management, and monitoring career development plans
* Lead the planning process on key briefs, ensuring campaigns are executed seamlessly and innovatively
* Manage revenue forecasting and delivery, and monitor portfolio profitability
* Define campaign success metrics that link to marketing-led ROI
* Ensure processes guarantee seamless campaign execution and reporting
* Build strong relationships with media owners and leverage your professional network to attract great talent
What You Will Bring:
* 8+ years' experience in a media agency or publishing/media sales environment
* Strategic thinking with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering results
* Strong client servicing skills and ability to develop trusted partnerships
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you are able to influence, collaborate, and build rapport

* Excellent market and media industry knowledge – historical and current
* Strong financial management skills and business acumen
* Proven team management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
* Understanding of and success in providing clients with diversified service and product solutions
