Retirement Living Sales & Marketing Specialist – Full Time
Locations: Tranquil Waters and Ormiston Rise Retirement Villages – Redlands Region, QLD
Tranquil Retirement Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retirement Living Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team, supporting two of our highly regarded villages located in the Redlands area. As a local, family-owned business with a strong community focus, we pride ourselves on a hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service to our residents.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised professional with proven sales and marketing experience, preferably within the retirement living or property sector. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end sales and marketing process for both our established village at Tranquil Waters and our newly developing village at Ormiston Rise, from initial enquiry through to settlement, move-in, and ongoing relationship management.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute marketing initiatives and manage the entire sales journey from initial enquiry through to settlement, including guided tours, information sessions, and contract administration
Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to attract prospective residents
Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing residents, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience
Represent Tranquil Retirement Group at local community and industry events, building strong community and referral networks
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Coordinate and participate in promotional events, open days, and resident functions
Based at Ormiston Rise, but work across both village sites as needed
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and marketing, ideally within property or retirement living
Prior experience working in or with the retirement living sector is highly desirable
Strong understanding of the seniors' market and ability to engage with older Australians with empathy and professionalism
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with fluent spoken and written English
Ability to manage multiple sales processes simultaneously with a high level of organisation and attention to detail
A customer-first approach, with patience, empathy, and a professional manner at all times
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confident using CRM systems and social media platforms
Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs in a competitive environment
Solid knowledge of digital marketing tools and a creative approach to campaign execution
Understanding of the Retirement Village Act (QLD) and relevant regulations affecting retirement communities, or a demonstrated ability to acquire this knowledge quickly
Current valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends for events and inspections
Full-time position
Salaried role (not commission-based)
Flexibility to work across both villages in the Redlands region
Location
Based at Ormiston Rise, with responsibility across both village sites as needed.
