**The Company**

Our client is an established producer in the poultry sector producing some 10.000.000 chickens annually, this includes both free range and broiler farms. They were born out of an investment culture and have their people, land and animals at the heart of their operation.
Due to continued success and the growth of the business, we are now searching for an experienced and capable Farm Manager to join their team on the farm along the Murray river in Blanchetown, SA.
**The Role**
As the Farm Manager your primary objective will be to support the entire farm through decisive and efficient management of the day to day operations.
Your duties will involve the following:
- Continuous improvement of the farm and systems
- Ensuring that production targets are met
- Ensuring team cohesion by coaching and mentoring staff
- Feed systems management, including feed lines and water supply
- Implementing company standards, KPI's, safety and culture
- Reviewing financial performance, waste, labour cost and yields
- Animal husbandry

To be successful in the role, you will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Related formal qualification would be an advantage
- Demonstrable track record in a similar farm/livestock position is desirable
- An assistant farm manager wanting to take the next step in their career will be considered
- High level of competency in industry standards and animal husbandry
- Strong agri leadership track record
- Exemplary communication both written and verbal
- An understanding of data collection, analysis and interpretation
- Cobb Vantress knowledge and experience would be an advantage
- IV in Frontline Management or Leadership would be an advantage
