Teaching Opportunity
Our school is a co-educational Catholic educational institution that fosters a strong sense of community among its students, staff and parents. We cater for children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six and are committed to providing a safe and supportive teaching and learning environment.
The general curriculum is delivered using an Inquiry Based approach, with Literacy and Numeracy being key focuses. We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher who can contribute to our team's collaborative efforts in educating our students.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding of the Church's mission in Catholic Education and ability to contribute to the spiritual life of the school.
* Knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the capacity to design effective teaching programs and differentiated learning experiences.
* Planning and implementation of teaching programs across all learning areas, including specialist subjects.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with students, colleagues and parents.
Requirements:
* Relevant four-year tertiary qualification.
* Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or working towards).
* Current registration with the relevant teaching authority.
* Current Working with Children Check.
